GW Community School Foundation

From its beginning in 1999, the GW Community School has embraced a unique mission: provide an authentic, whole-child educational program that allows each student to thrive.

GWCS has accomplished this year after year through a student-centered college preparatory curriculum that sparks intellectual curiosity, includes a myriad of dynamic extracurricular activities, and creates a collegial environment where all are accepted and valued.

As an independent school, GWCS does not receive any government funding, which means tuition and generous charitable gifts are the primary sources of financial support. The GW Community School Foundation is a philanthropic 501(c)(3) organization formed in 2014 by a group of committed parents. The Foundation continues today with a focused goal of providing financial support for programs, activities and events that enhance and enrich the student community and educational experience at GW Community School.

We welcome your tax-deductible contributions to help support the GWCS student experience.  We are grateful for the wonderful support from our community of alumni, parents, grandparents, GWCS families and friends. Thank you!
